I was skeptical that I'd really like any steam mop, as I'd never found anything in the way of a mop that I used more than twice. Rather, I've been washing my floors on my hands & knees for many years. Be that as it may, I thought I'd give this one a try, as I'm quite frankly sick of being on the floor to wash the floor! I researched these things a bit & the "Reliable Steamboy" was my model of choice, but it was more than I wanted to spend on something that I wasn't sure I was going to like. This model had a lower price tag & appeared to be pretty close to the Steamboy in the way of utility. It turns out that I was correct about that.



When this item came in I decided to try out my new toy even though I considered the floors clean. What a surprise! I'm not a clean freak, but I was amazed at the amount of dirt this steam cleaner picked up. The cloth was definitely a dark gray.



The basics: It's very easy to fill & use. It heats up very quickly. I enjoyed the smell of the Lysol (a bottle is provided) even though I've been using Simple Green for over a decade. It's very easy to manipulate this thing. The real test was my tiny bathroom. I could navigate behind and around the toilet with ease. The head is not static like some models, but swivels. I'd say that my only complaint is that I wish the tank were a little lower, as I had a bit of trouble clearing my kitchen cabinets (but they're set in pretty low). I steamed my tiny bathroom & mid-sized kitchen & still had plenty of steam to go (probably could have done both rooms twice). There are 6 cloths provided that very easily attach to the head with velcro.



I don't really know how it could be made any easier. A well designed tool that I would certainly buy again.
